Project Introduction
- KAIST was selected as the operation organization for the Materials, Parts and Equipment Strategic Cooperation Development Project by the Ministry of SMEs.

- 사업목적은 소재‧부품‧장비분야 유망 중소기업의 기술혁신 역량 제고를 위해 운영기관의 전문인력 및 인프라 등을 활용한 공동 기술개발 지원
- 소재·부품·장비 분야의 기술·인프라·인력을 보유한 KAIST와 소재‧부품‧장비분야 유망 중소기업의 혁신 기술개발을 촉진
- - 대학을 중심으로 국내·외 우수인력과 소부장 기업이 모여 산업체 수요 중심의 R&D를 수행하고 신산업 창출에 기여하는 혁신적인 산학협력

Project VISION
- Identify the lacking capabilities and needs of SMEs (PLUG) and provide customized solutions (PLAY) through programs such as KAIST's Industry-Academic Cooperation Center, MP(Materials, Parts and Equipment) Technology Advisory Group, New Materials Research Planning Group, TMC, Open Lab etc.
- Creating Effects such as technology realization of participating SMEs, minimizing market failure, strengthening technological competitiveness in new product development, increasing sales, securing KAIST technology through technology transfer.

Developing world-class SMEs by utilizing KAIST’s technology, network, and support platform
Objective
Establishment of a company-tailored and close-fitting R&D platform for small, medium
and large technical support systems.
Encourage small and medium-sized businesses to secure KAIST's core technologies and foster
global SMEs based on national research and development funds.
